Well that turned out neat. Random drawing since I haven’t done much in a while.
So I drew the cute spotted changeling from my sketches but now I want to keep him forever… I still need a name though. Guess I’ll think about that while I’m at work today.
Edit: So I spent a bunch of time today thinking about this adorable dork.
His name’s Spotted Record. He’s a History keeper/stealer that works for the hive. He spent most of his time in pony libraries making sure to record all the new information he can find and transporting it back to the hive. He doesn’t actually steal the books, he just uses his good memory and magic to keep track of the information until he can offload it at the hive. Spotted Record was the alias he used when in pony-form. Since he spent so much time out of the hive though, he grew to like it. He got caught up in the same incident that injured Bucketling, so now his magic is less reliable. He volunteered to go back to Ponyville with Bucketling to help document pony-changeling relations.
I thought up some more stuff for him, but this is fine for a little intro-summary.

Was bored and drew a bunch of Aqua~Synch, so I figured I should try and draw Bucketling as some other mythical thingy. So yeah, Wyvern-Bucketling. Based mostly on Rathian from Monster hunter, but was fun to draw. She’s pretty cute like this. It helps if you imagine her as just barely as tall as a normal mare while standing up like that.

I liked the look of that last Synch with gold bangles and necklaces and stuff, so I doodled more of them. And the doodles became these for more shading/lighting practice. I think they turned out rather well…

More stress relief
// Ahh~ Stress relief time with Thunderlane is really nice… Everything’s been way too complicated lately, so it’s nice to know that I can just unwind over at his place for a while. And he’s fairly tasty too. It’s not pure love, but at least it’s directed at the true me. Which counts for a whole lot more than some ponies think. I really shouldn’t make a habit of this though… Maybe after this mess is over I’ll take him on a real date.

Oh don’t worry about me.. Usually Five or Synch is here to take care of me, but if they’re both gone I’m still well protected. The Fluffy Moth pony thing that started living in our cave also protects it pretty well. Thankfully he doesn’t mind sharing the cave with us. (Cause It was ours first anyways…)
And I’ve tried sending mail to Cadence, but I think she doesn’t want to hear from any changeling at the moment. Though this is probably has more to do with Queen Chrysalis sending her passive-aggressive mail about how her wedding was obviously more important than our entire hive dying of starvation… I’ll try again later though I suppose.
I’m gonna take a nap now… Hopefully Synch gets back soon, everything is starting to hurt again..
