Mod reminder: I’m not gonna draw any nsfw of this guy. He’s cute, but it would be out of character for him since he’s asexual… Also hi! It’s been a while huh. I’ll probably be drawing more stuff, hopefully something turns out well.
Sorry I’ve been away for so long. Work takes up more time than I thought it would. Hopefully I can get back into drawing again. I’ve missed it :c
Anyways, felt like trying to draw Spotted Record again, so here he is. Bundled in a bunch of blankets and doing his favorite activity. I had some fun with the shading. This one was pretty simple and I got it done in about 45 minutes! Not too shabby for someone who hasn’t drawn seriously in a good 2-3 weeks.
As for a job update: Things are going well, If I keep up the good work, I’ll probably get a raise at my 90-day review, so that’d be cool. If you add in the commute time though I’m working for about 11 hours a day, which is pretty lame. Hopefully I can afford to move closer soon so I can get back some of that time.
So I was bored at the theater and sketched Spotted Record a bunch of times. There were more sketches, but those didn’t turn out as good, so whatevers. These are pretty good though. And I figured out how to draw his ears! So yay I guess.
So I drew the cute spotted changeling from my sketches but now I want to keep him forever… I still need a name though. Guess I’ll think about that while I’m at work today.
Edit: So I spent a bunch of time today thinking about this adorable dork.
His name’s Spotted Record. He’s a History keeper/stealer that works for the hive. He spent most of his time in pony libraries making sure to record all the new information he can find and transporting it back to the hive. He doesn’t actually steal the books, he just uses his good memory and magic to keep track of the information until he can offload it at the hive. Spotted Record was the alias he used when in pony-form. Since he spent so much time out of the hive though, he grew to like it. He got caught up in the same incident that injured Bucketling, so now his magic is less reliable. He volunteered to go back to Ponyville with Bucketling to help document pony-changeling relations.
I thought up some more stuff for him, but this is fine for a little intro-summary.

A bunch of Changeling sketchies! Drew them at work. They don’t have names yet, but I thought of a few ideas for what their stories are and the lore behind the wounds of the injured ones. Doodled a cute thingy with Wyvern Bucketling and Five. Five actually turned out really good for some reason. I might try and finish this later, but I don’t have time for now. Anyways, enjoy a cute little sketch. I have been working on the story that might show up on this blog eventually, but I’ll be starting my job pretty soon, so it may take me some time getting used to that and not drawing. Anyways, sorry this blog has been super inactive recently.

So I tried drawing happy/cute things. Then that didn’t work so I tried drawing sad things… This didn’t turn out particularly well, but it was way better than any happy thing I tried. She’s probably sad that I can’t draw her well. Or anything well. Weh.
